Training

Monroe County ARES strongly recommends that all members complete the following training:

• Amateur Radio Emergency Communications Level 1

In addition, the following courses are required for RACES members scheduled to work at the Emergency Operations Center:

• IS-100 (ICS 100) Introduction to Incident Command System, I-100

• IS-200 (ICS 200) ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents

• IS-700 National Incident Management System (NIMS), An Introduction

• IS-800 National Response Framework (NRF), An Introduction
